JESUS FUCKING CHRIST, WHO CHECKS THE SCIENCE ON CSI: NEW YORK?

Thallium 201? Has a half life measured in HOURS. Checking a corpse years old? You'd detect zero Tl-201. (Although you could probably detect plenty of mercury, which is the product of the decay.)

Also? Thallium is toxic as shit, so it's likely that someone would die of thallium poisoning outright before they ever died of radiation poisoning.

CSI is never accurate, tbh. But I love the shows nonetheless. It's like trying to get medical advice from House.

I usually end up critiquing the way they work crime scenes too ~ until I get so frustrated at the inaccuracies that I switch it over to cartoons or something else mind numbing. GAH, they are *supposed* to have someone with some type of intelligence to give professional advice to....apparently the professional advice is not heeded or not the right type of profession!

Glad to know I am not the only one who gripes when the science is wrong!

Morons! How could anyone be so stupid?!

*has no real clue, either*
