THERE AREN'T WORDS FOR MY GLEE. OMFG.

[livejournal.com profile] randomepiphany? [livejournal.com profile] nessime_lisen? You are totally welcome to come for the Houston gig.

ETA: Verizon and the Meridian both already have acts scheduled for the tentative date in Houston. Hm....

ETA2: *whimper* They just removed the Houston date (and Dallas, but not Austin). I'm sure it's 'cause Verizon is booked for that night, and they're going to reschedule. I hope.

OMG. PANIC ISN'T UNTIL JUNE HERE.

I like Radiohead, but am pretty meh about the thought of seeing them live. I'm fairly certain basically nothing could compare to MCR live, though, so...

OMG. *FLAILS MORE*

Oh, Ray Toro. Can I admit to you that half the reason I'm intrigued by The Cab is the fact that Ian looks like Toro a decade ago?

Er, the above should have read: OMG. PANIC ISN'T HERE UNTIL JUNE.

*giggles at self*

I have been rendered a noodlehead by this.

Yes, that is perfectly acceptable to admit. Hee.

I understood what you meant. :)

In a note unrelated to concert squee, but TOTALLY RELATED TO ALL OTHER KINDS OF SQEE...

Have you SEEN THIS VIDEO?

Bob Bryar. HOW SO AMAZING?

[identity profile] asimplechord.livejournal.com 2008-02-14 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
I saw the first part before, but the actual playing? Oh, Bob Bryar.

(I have to admit, even years after learning to hold drum sticks for marching band, that the matched grip that he uses makes my wrist hurt, just looking at it.)

This too.

It's from a live performance. Shows him switching kits on the rotating platform mid-rotate. For some reason that impresses me. A lot. Might have something to do with my lack of coordination. You can hear the other stuff in the background, but it's mainly bob. Especially the first few minutes.
