meant to post this last night, but the wine got the better of me
Trying to clean out my WIP folder. I have in progress:
1 Criminal Minds fic
3 HP fics
7 5 SPN/RPS fics
That means actual paragraphs and such written, not just notes and an outline. That would increase the list considerably.
*waves at spiral notebook with dribbles and drabbles and ideas jotted down*
I have these ideas, but no staying power. Need to finish them. Especially the F/G/H potions incident and the follow-up to the handcuff porn Tabby started. Both are nearly finished, and have been for months.
Related to the coffee drabble: last night at dinner MrIris pointed out that I like my wine like I like my coffee: strong and sharp and bitter. Just because I didn't share his appreciation of the Pascual Toso Reserve we had. It was too much like a pinot noir, too smooth and too light, without the smoky licorice flavor I expect from a malbec. But hey, it was at Mi Luna, my favorite tapas bar, which just opened a new spot in our little 'burb.
*flail*
Tapas and wine and live music and salsa lessons every Wednesday night. It's next door to my favorite sushi bar. Dangerous. I foresee a sharp decrease in the amount of cooking I do on weeknights. :D
This time tomorrow? I will be on my way to Bal'mer. I'll hang out with friends, see family, get sloppy and silly with the people who saw me through four years of chemistry classes, parties on Division St., working the midnight to 8am shift at campus police, and last minute road trips for booty-calls and concerts. Is it stupid to miss them as much as I do? We email, but we only see each other once a year now, and it's just not the same.
I will, of course, have at least six hours of airport/airplane time. If you leave a fandom, pairing, character, and prompt, I'll drabbleinstead of working on any of the WIPs I just mentioned.
