OMG, I wrote a Tweasley drabble for the first time in ages!

It's untitled, and it's G-rated, and it fits with movie-canon, not book-canon. Fits the "writing" prompt for the [livejournal.com profile] 100quills grid that has been sadly neglected the last few months. 100 words, if Word's wordcount can be trusted.

Here, have some Fredngeorge while you wait for Deathly Hallows.

“That utter cow!”

George cradled Fred’s hand in his palm, wincing at the twinge of pain it caused. Somehow, seeing the words etched in his brother’s skin was worse than seeing it on his own or Lee’s. He wondered distantly how Harry was dealing with it, since this was the second bit of “lines” he’d had to do.

Setting the bowl of murtlap essence aside, George traced a fingertip over the red-tinged writing, barely touching the surface. When Fred flinched, George’s frown deepened.

“We’ll make her sorry. Weasley’s honor.”

Fred smiled wanly. “Time for the grand conflagration, is it?”

“Abso-bloody-lutely.”

*nods*

Anything can be done with determination and lots of lube.

:D

Argh, now I have to confess I'm sneaking into LJ (hands over eyes, avoiding anything with the word Spoiler). Glad I did though; I wouldn't have seen this otherwise.

*snogs Weasley twins*

I'm sneaking around LJ too, trying to avoid spoilers, but I figured anyone brave enough to keep looking deserved a treat. :)

Yep, they were totally the heroes there! :)
