I think I need to see the movie a second time before I can really organize my thoughts beyond Oooh, pretty!, but off the top of my head? I'd give it a thumbs-up. I liked it better than GoF, in fact.


- TWINS FTW

- there was SO MUCH Snarry potential there, I can't even begin to explain it

- lame ending (pretty much par for the course in the HP movies)

- Sirius was AK'd, WTF? (maybe I'm confused; I thought AK killed instantaneously, but Sirius sorta hung there like he was dying slowly - was that to imply that he was already dead but still falling through the veil?)

- Bellatrix = crazy awesome

- I heart Luna/Evanna. and Tonks, whose hair puts me in mind of ariadne1

- Imelda Staunton and Brendan Gleeson are marvels of casting

- the mewing kittens-on-plates totally freaked me out

- pimped out Voldemort on Platform 9 3/4 is the bomb

- Sirius is so gaygayGAY, and he was totally crossing the paternal line in his scenes with Harry

- did he call Harry James in the Ministry fight? (which, way cool for him and Harry to be fighting side by side)

- apparation effects? nifty.

- MrIris is now a Tonks/Harry shipper, and I wish that Harry/Luna was canon, but we both enjoyed the bits of Ginny that appeared in every Harry/Cho scene

- the kiss in front of Cedric's pic? all sorts of wrong and still funny

- mixed feelings about Cho as betrayer, even if it was Veritaserum-induced

- MrIris asked if Neville was getting some Patil twin action on the side, which made me sputter sangria down my shirt

- liked the dark dreariness at Grimmauld Place

- sorta missed CAPSLOCK!Harry, who was just emo at some points

- unimpressed by the way the beginning played out, the bit at Privet Drive; does the abbreviation mean that "Remember my last" is not very important?

- oh, Jason Isaacs, I shall dream of you with your Paris Hilton wig and your pimp cane and black suit and your really nifty magical Death Eater mask

Draco didn't have nearly enough screen time. And no matter how much AR had, I always want more. Preferably with Harry in the room. On his knees. :D

OMG - Yes!! I went to see it a second time today - Sirus is seriously GAY and does call Harry 'James' while they were duelling. Yes, Bellatrix used the AK and he still did the slow backwards swan dive into the veil!

Remus is seriously GAY as well!

And what was with the funny head motions Harry had at odd moments - like his neck was out of kilter or something!

The Kiss, with Cedric watching - wrong.

The casting was amazing except for Kingsley - WTF - never saw the bald head!

I definately liked it better than GoF, though!

I'm okay with bald Kingsley, but I pictured someone else entirely. Like, Djimon Hounsou or something. Because movie!Kingsley? Totally not hot enough for some of the stuff the_minx_17 has written him in.

I need to see it again - we were in the 4th row, way too close to catch everyting, but...

- I can totally see Harry/Luna as canon; I like her way better than Ginny, particularly in this movie.
- Jason Isaacs is yum!
- the twins rocked in this movie - and they were particularly good-looking, IMO
- Kingsley should have had more lines - I really liked his voice.
- Sirius is definitely gay and crossing way too many lines with Harry. Yes, he did call him James.
- Neville/Patil twins? Hmmm... not sure about that one. I kind of see Neville as asexual...

In all, really enjoyed it, prolly my favourite HP movie so far!

Yeah, of all of them, I really liked OotP best. Except the ending. Not impressed with that. I wanted the tantrum, the explanation, the big speech. And I wanted to see the Harry/Draco confrontation.

Oh, twins. They (and Snape) were this book's heroes, and we just don't get to see that. But yeah, hot. Except I like their hair better when it's longer.

The Neville/Patils thing was totally MrIris's gig. Not my deal at all. Neville is supposed to take Ginny off Harry's hands, so he can be with Snape Fredngeorge Luna.
