I really don't think you should refrain from imposing your own science-nerdiness on Reid! *g* It's neat. Reid knows a lot in a lot of fields, after all, and is certainly In Character when at his nerdiest! I know there are limits, but imposing our vision on the characters is what makes fanfic so great, IMnotatallHO, gives our stories their flavor and much of their fun. It's great when we hit on something that totally *gets* the canon character, but sometimes a good way to do that is to -- impose. :-) Let your Reid-flag fly! Hope you'll explore him some more.
