My, "I'm pretty sure that 90% of the people who see that name are not going to think it means what you intended," did not convince him to change it.
I am so disenchanted with work right now, it's not funny. IDK, I feel undervalued, I guess? B/c no matter how hard I work to get these experiments done, I know I won't get overtime, or a bonus, or a raise, even if my boss would like to give me one, b/c the system-wide policy right now is no raises and no bonuses, even if your salary is paid from a grant, rather than from the university's operating budget.
