I had a sad moment, thinking about the show that is not going to be at Reliant Arena. But then Weezer came out in their SuperMario outfits, and I couldn't sulk any longer - I was laughing too hard.

Not really. :) Actually, I had really low expectations for this show b/c of the Weezer By Committee concept. Plus, a hootenanny? Inviting random fans up on stage with their instruments to play along?

It DID! I'm not completely sold on Tokyo Police Club's live act, but A&A were good, and although it was weird to see so much of the other guys in the band doing the singing while Cuomo did... I don't even know what off in the corner of the stage... the show was good. (Plus, MrIris was completely and totally thrilled by the Pink Floyd cover. So it wasn't a failed attempt on my part to get him to like the music of our age, rather than our parents'.)

But as I mentioned to vic_ramsey above, I couldn't help but think wistfully of the next show I was supposed to see there - Rock Band Live.
